“SIGMA INSURANCE BROKERS SA” with VAT number 999311459 is registered in the Athens Chamber of Tradesmen (EEA) under number EEA/63, and isrepresented by George Serafimides being the main shareholder and management consultant. As an insurance broker, we provide consultancy on the insurance products promoted, and we operate independently representing the insured, not the insurance companies we cooperate with. We carry out insurance operations in Greece, as well as in Bulgaria and Romania under the “Freedom of Services” (FSO) regime, applicable within the EU countries. BASIC COOPERATION TERMS

Every active or potential insured customer who cooperates with us, wishes to continue to cooperate with us, wishes to cooperate with us in the future, should have an email address and internet access, and expressly and irrevocably accepts that he/she should communicate with us by the above means. Unfortunately, we could not provide any service to a physical person or legal entity that does not accept this condition.

BROKERAGE TASKS

The operations of our office are subjected to the framework of Law 4583/2018 (among others) and to the supervision of the Bank of Greece. Our tasks include the following:

  1. Analysis of the insured party’s needs with a special questionnaire, and preparation of a draft or broking slip per case.
  2. Market research and provision of personal advice regarding the insurance product(s)that best cover the needs of the insured submitting simultaneously all the necessary documentation and information.
  3. Risk placement / completion of the insurance application form upon order, plus checking the insurance policy issued.
  4. Archive maintenance of our portfolio insurance policies and renewal processing.
  5. Claim management including the following tasks: (a) Loss notification, (b) loss adjuster contact, (c) claim documentation and finalization, (d) loss report check, (e) indemnity completion.

We clarify that despite our intention to provide excellent service, we depend on the service received by the insurance companies, and we do our best to overcome potential drawbacks. In all cases, we cooperate with risk carriers of high security.

RISK PLACEMENT (INSURERS)

Being insurance brokers, we can place risks in any insurance company active in the Greek and European (subject to conditions) market. Indicatively and alphabetically, we list the following insurance companies we cooperate with: AIG EUROPE, ALLIANZ-EUR.PISTI, ALLIANZ CARE, ARAG, AXA GLOBAL HEALTHCARE , BUPA GLOBAL, CIGNA GLOBAL, ERGO, EUROLIFE, ETHNIKI, GENERALI, HDI, INTERAMERICAN, SYNDEA(COOPERATIVE). At the same time, we cooperate with other insurance brokers for the placement of large or special risks in the Greek and international insurance market. We are not engaged in the promotion of investment products, and we do not
cooperate with respective companies.

BROKER COMMISSION AND FEES

Our remuneration is based on commission percentage (%) on the net premiums of each policy, and is payable to us by the Insurance companies. The Insured could check the commission rate, as well as request a different payment method (only in corporate accounts). In case of direct remuneration from the insured, our fee is subjected to VAT surcharge and a special written contract.

We note that brokerage depends on high human capital intensity needing approximately 50% allocation of the company’s revenues, and under ideal conditions, one’s remuneration is considered adequate when it covers 15-20% (average commission) of the portfolio’s net premiums production.

MANAGEMENT OF PERSONAL DATA

Our company respects the personal data of the insured and guarantees that it makes every reasonable effort to protect them. The processing of this data is always done within the framework of the applicable legislation, specifically the European Regulation 679/2016. We only collect the personal data that we are allowed to obtaining the necessary written CONSENT whenever required, and we use it strictly and only for the purpose that has been communicated to the insured. The security of the personal data of each insured person is our constant goal and we use the most modern technology to collect, maintain and process it. COMPLAINT MANAGEMENT POLICY

We aim to provide comprehensive service to the insured, and we are committed to deal with any complaint immediately, as well as responding in writing to any complaint within twenty (20) working days after its submission. In case the interested party wishes to submit a written complaint, he/she could send it to the email address info@sigmaib.gr with the subject “COMPLAINT”. If he/she is not satisfied with our answer received and our subsequent actions within the above deadline, he/she could appeal to the following listed authorities.
